Honestly I am loving everything about the lessons. I have done self lead learning before and it was rough but learning from Sophie has made it so much easier to process and understand clearly. Not just that but to actually retain the information. I genuinely feel like my goal is attainable!

Learning Korean from Sophie has been a journey for me. I did try to learn Korean a few years back but I had to put it aside due to financial difficulties as I focused on working. I find Sophie’s way of teaching far more effective and more based on experience then learning from a boring textbook. I just wanted to say 감사합니다 쏘피 쌤! Like others in the group I started learning Korean using duo lingo. Didn’t feel like I ever got far and it became really confusing really quickly! I managed to learn the alphabet and that was pretty much it! I never expected to learn so much in the past 10 weeks! I didn’t expect to be able to understand some of the words used in k dramas and in the V lives (and get so excited when I do!).

I’m so glad I stumbled across Sophie - I thought ‘this is a sign’.

Sophie Ssaem is based in Sydney and can help you understand the Korean language with translating what Australians do VS how Koreans communicate! I've had the best time learning Korean with Sophie. She is incredibly patient, classes are always interesting and it's always up to you and how much time you can invest into learning Hanguel! I've tried boring textbooks, Duolingo/Papago and Google translate. I've found ModuKorean helped me learn and understand the Korean language in a way that really sticks with me.
