Sophie is kind and patient. Always coming up with ways to make the learning experience a positive one with a lot of resources. I love the flexibility and being able to catch up at my own time. Was worried about taking up something completely new but no regrets after joining. Classes are easy to follow and affordable. Last but not least - love the BTS references, examples and homework.

Sophie is the best Korean teacher! Her lessons are fun and the pacing is excellent (especially for a time-poor worker!) Pronounciation has always been the bit I struggle with the most with learning languages, and Sophie has been the most patient and accommodating teacher, and is always encouraging but also challenging me! Out of all the lessons I've had in the past and various courses I've taken I have to say that by far I have gotten so much more out of my lessons with Sophie. Fun and easy to follow classes, with a sprinkling of BTS references, will keep you motivated and engaged. Lots of resources available so you won’t fall behind even if you miss a class. Learning is delivered at just the right pace, with no pressure to do any ‘homework’. Pronunciation classes are optional but will speed up your progress so much more. No amount of ‘self learning’ using language apps, listening to BTS songs or watching Kdramas has come close to what I have achieved with Modu Korean in a short time.
