You'll need a copy of the Modu Hangeul table that you can access once you've enroll in the course.

You'll also need a notebook to write notes and some colourful pens and highlighters!

We recommend having TWO notebooks.

One to pracatice your handwriting and a 'nicer' one to be your main source of truth - for rules and descriptions of what you've learnt.

We recommend squared paper not lined paper - ie. the kind you use for maths!

There is approximately 4 weeks to complete all three courses including the lessons and activities!

This is calculated based off approximately 2-3 hours of study per week!

Absolutely! Here are a few tips on learning this course more effectively!

Writing Notes:

• Watch the recorded lesson whilst writing notes in your 'nice notebook'.
• Pause the video as many times as you need to
• Don't tell yourself that you will transfer them neatly later (we all do this!). This will quickly catch up to you and it will snowball - Write the notes right there and then
• Remember - all those notes will soon be unnecessary because you'll know it all!! Don't waste time on making them look nice!
• Try not to have too many notebooks
• Just have ONE 'source of truth' so you know exactly where to go to when you need something

Memorising:

• Use the tips in the course to UNDERSTAND the rules rather than straight out memorising

Structure:

• Do one topic a day rather than cramming everything in one go
• At the end of the lesson topic, revise it as soon as you can, whilst it's still fresh in your mind - ideally, right afterwards, if not, at least the day after.
• Write out the characters again and test yourself by covering the English part and trying to recognise them yourself.
• Make sure you're practising the sounds out loud, not in your head or mumbled - what sounded right in your head doesn't always come out that way!
• When you go to start the next topic, always start by revising the previous lessons.
• This will help to solidify your memory and understanding but also, everything in language is connected so you need to have a well-rounded (but not perfect) understanding of all the components.
